Boat Rental Thames rents Canadian Canoes, Stand Up Paddleboard Boards [SUPs], Sit on Top Kayaks and New for summer 2021, electric boats  seating up to 8 people, from our stunning riverside base at the National Sports Centre at Bisham Abbey, Marlow.

We also have our popular fleet of Canadian canoes, SUPs and Sit on Top Kayaks to hire from a half or full day to a longer duration of your choice. Our local, friendly, and experienced team will help you with everything from making the canoe or stand up paddle board booking to deciding which route down the River Thames to take. We can advise on ice cream stops, campsites and pubs along the way.

With FREE on site parking and a café, Bisham Abbey is the perfect place to start or finish your adventure on the River Thames. Everyone is welcome from experienced paddlers to complete novices.

NEW FOR 2022 - Hire a Water Bike

What better way to relax and explore the River Thames than on a water bike?

There are two types of water bikes - Recumbent and Sit On Saddle and they are stable an easy to use.

Water Bikes can be hired for an hour (Weekends only) / half day / full day from our Base At Bisham Abbey, Marlow.

Half Day £55  from 10am-1.15pm or 2-5.30pm
per Hour – £19.50

Our Half day hire is from 10am to 1.30 or 2pm to 5.30pm. 

Explore along the river to Marlow, to Temple Lock or if you are adventurous go through Temple Lock and head towards Hurley Lock before heading back.

Easy Access to our site from London and surrounding areas close to the M4 and M40, just off the Bisham Junction of the A404. Our Bisham to Bisham route is our most popular and is great for families. Paddlers head upstream to Hurley lock where they can stop for a bite to eat and a drink before heading back at a leisurely pace.

Boat Rental Thames provides buoyancy aids for all participants and will show you how to stay safe on the river and what to do and where to go. All equipment is cleaned between use to the highest standards.

We hope to make your trip as relaxing and fun as possible. In addition to renting Paddle boards from our Bisham Abbey base, they can be collected or posted to be used anywhere on the Thames or elsewhere in the UK. Booking in advance is essential:

Zen Electric Boat Hire: from £320 per day

Canoe Rental: from £66 per day

Paddle Boards: from £49.95 per day (ask us about our Mega SUP for groups).

Kayaks – singles and doubles: single £50 per day, double £58
