Escape the Everyday along the Thames
The Thames winds its way along the borders of nine English counties from its source in the Cotswolds, through London, past the Thames Barrier and out through the Thames Estuary to the sea. On its way it passes a variety of landscapes, historic towns and cities and green spaces with an abundance of wildlife. Walk the Thames Path National Trail which runs along most of its course, stopping off to discover the best unknown spots on your doorstep, or rediscover your favourite places.
Rediscover Royal Windsor
Of course, you can’t visit Windsor without a visit to the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world, Windsor Castle, but make sure you discover some of the other unique sights. Be inspired by its outdoor spaces from its riverbank on the River Thames to its beautiful parks and gardens including the Savill Garden. Less than an hour from London it makes for a lovely short break or day out. There’s plenty for families to do with LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, situated just outside the town centre. Find out more
