A New Flame perform The Songs of Simply Red at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts in Maidenhead on Saturday 8 April at 8pm. Tickets are £16.

With more than thirty Top 40 singles and several of the best-selling albums of the last four decades to choose from, A New Flame brings you a truly memorable evening of great music. The exceptional nine-piece band recreates every slick groove and perfect melody from Mick Hucknall’s remarkable global career.

The band features the vocals of David Duckmanton as Mick Hucknall. David’s voice is so similar to Mick’s that it was the building block that inspired this theatre show around Simply Red’s many hits.

Paul Brittain the show producer and guitarist has worked with David and keyboard player Adam Day for over 20 years. They have recorded for major record labels and songwriters and performed live shows worldwide with named acts.
