With over 20 years experience in waterborne construction,Thames Riverworks Piling Ltd offer a professional service in piling, dredging and waterborne projects. Based on the River Thames we have acquired a detailed knowledge in managing river work operations on inland waterways.
Our impressive fleet of working craft includes piling barges, crane barges, safety boats, tugs, dumb barges and workboats with diggers and workshop facilities. All our barges are well maintained, fully tested and insured. The barges have been purpose built with some small enough to be transportable. Attention to detail with regards to Health and Safety requirements is always a priority. Our competent employees are Health and Safety certified and fully trained in all areas applicable to our works.
Through a working understanding of the river and inland waterways we offer skilled advice on all aspects of bank protection and marine projects. Conservation issues and environmentally friendly solutions are always an important consideration when putting forward our proposals, offering a sensitive interaction between our client’s requirements and the environment. We appreciate that we have a duty of care to our customers and ensure that we offer long term and effective solutions.
We are proud to have undertaken projects for the Environment Agency, local Authorities, private riparian owners and marinas over the years. These have included timber landing stages, steel and timber piling, bankside protection and erosion control, slipway construction, fixed and floating pontoon installation.
