About

Situated on the banks of the River Thames and close to the Runnymede memorials, this park is a popular all-year round place to visit. It has plenty of modern play equipment, a paddling pool, children’s rides and amusements (summer months) and adjacent cafe. It’s great for picnics or the starting point for walks along the Thames Path National Trail or to the Magna Carta, John F Kennedy, or Air Forces memorials.

Make a day of it and join a French Brothers Cruise from the Runnymede Pleasure Grounds (Summer onlly). Embark on 'Lucy Fisher', a replica of a Victorian paddle steamer and cruise upstream to the Bells of Ouzeley, which is featured in Jerome K. Jerome's "Three Men in a Boat".

There is a large pay and display car park and toilets (including disabled, accessed with a radar key).
