Holiday Cruisers
Holiday Cruisers can be hired from as little as a 3 or 4night short break to one week or more. There is 124 miles of the River Thames to discover from Teddington right up to Lechlade in Gloucestershire. Cruising the full length of the river you will pass through towns such as Hampton Court, Runnymede, Windsor, Henley, Goring, Abingdon and Oxford to name just a few. To cover the whole of the river, a minimum of 2 weeks is required. The rush of driving along busy roads, of queuing in congested towns will fade into the background as you travel at a gentle pace, your own pace, where the beauty of the surrounding scenery is something you and your party can see and enjoy. Whether you have a week, a day or just a few hours, relax, unwind and discover the hidden treasures of the River Thames with Kris Cruisers. Captaining your own boat has never been so easy.
Day Boats
Day Boats are available to book in advance Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays for the whole day and for a minimum of 4 hours Monday to Friday, May through to September. At all other times boats can be booked in advance for a minimum of 4 hours 7 days a week. We can sometimes offer you a booking outside this pattern within 48 hours, please phone with your enquiry. Boats can be hired on the day from as little as 1 hour to the whole day when available. During a day's cruising from Datchet, you will pass through Windsor, Eton, Monkey Island and a little way farther on Maidenhead, with its memories of Edwardian punting heydays. At the limit of your cruising range are Boulter's Lock taking you into Clivedon Reach, one of the prettiest reaches on the whole river. Throughout the greater part of your trip the Round Tower of Windsor Castle remains a still and familiar landmark. Downstream will bring you to historic Runnymede with its many associations. Magna Carta, the memorial to President Kennedy and atop Cooper's Hill, the one to the Commonwealth Air Forces. The River winds on past London Stone marking the former limit of jurisdiction of the City of London, down through Laleham to the busy town of Staines, Chertsey and Shepperton, the limit of a downstream cruise.
