We offer activities on the River Thames, outdoor activities on the land, indoor activities and evening entertainment for small (minimum 6) or large groups of friends and family for special events, such as extended family get-togethers and Hen Parties.
Groups
Team Activity Group has a wealth of experience in organising events for groups on the River Thames. Enjoy our green and pleasant land with our family days. Dragon boating, raft building, archery, laser clay pigeon shooting, scavenger challenges. Activities are offered at various locations on or close to the River Thames. Available for groups from 6+, depending on activity.
Scavenger Challenge
Get the family or a group of friends together for the scavenger challenge - a fun-filled and challenging game. Explore the historic towns of Henley on Thames, Marlow, Oxford, Windsor, Eton or Goring and Streatley. Teams of up to six people are challenged to reach certain goals by performing various missions.
The teams compete against each other on various different tasks. Teams must take pictures, find objects, answer questions, complete different cryptic challenges and ultimately beat the other teams by prioritizing between missions and earning points. This activity will incorporate the best parts of a treasure / scavenger hunt activity and any number of teams can take part. Minimum 6 people.
Events & Festivals
Team Activity Group is responsible for managing the Marlow Town Regatta and Festival's Dragon Boat Regatta on the second Sunday in June (Sunday 17th June 2018). Entry to the enclosure is free on the Sunday (there is a charge on the Saturday) food stalls and ample picnic space will be available on the day.
Dragon Boat teams can be made up of work colleagues or family and friends, in fact any combination of people you would like to bring together for the day! Children can get involved too, minimum age is 8 years old (12 for a junior team). The event is a great day out for everybody involved, whether they are taking part or spectating.
Teams are guaranteed to compete in a minimum of three races each during the day and prizes are available for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams as well as the best dressed and best named teams. Teams can be made up of up to fifteen people; ten paddlers and a drummer are required for each race. Training sessions are also available to book prior to the event. Teams can use the event as a charity fundraising opportunity if they wish to do so but this is not compulsory.
