Many of Teddington’s best restaurants and pubs are located along the waterside. The Wharf Restaurant serves up first-class British cuisine in beautiful surroundings, with wonderful views across Teddington Lock. The Tide End Cottage is a traditional pub that sits just 20 yards from the water and offers award-winning real ales and pub grub.
Green and leafy, Teddington has generous parkland and beautiful riverside walks along the towpath. The river at Teddington Lock is a haven for watersports enthusiasts who try out kayaking, canoeing, rowing and sailing. There is a swimming pool at Vicarage Road, and also at The Lensbury Club, a members-only sports club with swimming, tennis, golf and water sports.
