Marlow Dragon Boat Festival

The Marlow Dragon Boat Festival is part of the Marlow Town Regatta and Festival, a traditional summer Lawn Regatta with rowing on the Thames jointly organised by Marlow Town Regatta & Festival (MTRF) and Marlow Rowing Club. This is Marlow's Premier Sporting & Social Community Event of the summer and continues a tradition that has been running for 150 years. The location is Higginson Park, Marlow SL7 1AW.

The Marlow Dragon Boat Festival takes place on the Sunday on the regatta course with arrivals at 9am, races starting at 10am and running throughout the day. The enclosure will be open from 8.00am and the last dragon boat race is expected to take place at about 3.30pm followed by presentation to winners.

The Marlow Dragon Boat Festival is organised by Team Activity Group and in recent years has attracted as many as 400 participants in over 30 teams.

A Day out for all the Family – Free Entry

Sunday is family day and not just for the dragon boat crews and their families and friends. Come down to watch and soak up the atmosphere. There will be food stalls and plenty of picnic space, all right by the river with a great view of the colourful racing. Bring your friends and family and enjoy the fun.

Limited car parking will be available on the day (subject to availability), on the football field from 8.00am on an unreserved basis. The entrance is in Lower Pound Lane, off Pound Lane.
