The River Thames is easy to get to. It flows through some of England's most famous towns and is accessible by car, bus, train and other waterways.

National Trails have published a leaflet explaining how to get to the river and the Thames Path (you can download this leaflet from the link below).

Major roads across the south-east will take you to the riverside towns. The map below shows the nearby train stations, connecting waterways, locks and car parks.
